Each dish is infused with authentic marinades and homemade sauces, reflecting Filipino grilling traditions passed down through generations.

The atmosphere at Grill City is casual and straightforward, catering primarily to those seeking a comforting, no-frills Filipino dining experience. The location within a bustling neighborhood makes it accessible for families, friends, and anyone craving the bold flavors of the islands. It's a spot where one can enjoy hearty servings of grilled pork belly (liempo), smoky squid, or the distinct tastes of lechon and bangus, accompanied by staples such as steamed rice and pancit palabok.

What stands out most is the balancing act between nostalgia and satisfying cravings. For many customers, Grill City delivers an authentic connection to home, especially in dishes like the Halo Halo dessert and BBQ pork skewers. The inclusion of Filipino beverages like Bubble Tea complements the meal with a sweet, refreshing finish.

However, some feedback points to areas for improvement, particularly in service and meal temperature. Ensuring freshly grilled items and hot buffet dishes would elevate the dining experience significantly. Portions of rice could be more generous to match the hearty nature of the entrees.

It embraces the essence of regional Filipino cooking, focusing on grilled favorites and traditional combos that appeal to both seasoned Filipino diners and newcomers seeking a flavorful culinary adventure.

We comes here just to eat Filipino food. We love their barbecue, grill squid, grill bangus and the halo-halo for dessert.

Growing up eating Filipino food, I get cravings every so often. I usually make what I want at home but to be able to have 2-3 of your favorite Filipino dishes, well then, you’d have to be at a party. But if one is craving some from the islands than you need to find the nearest Seafood City and get yourself to a Grill city. Is it the best? Nah. Is it pricey? Yahh. Is it good? Sometimes. Does it fill your cravings? ABSOLUETLY! Every Filipino Lola’s/Lolo’s (grandmother/Grandfather) makes each dish different. It will not be one of those omg reminds me of home moments (unless you live in the Midwest with a bunch of non-Asian descendants and only eat hamburgers and pizza for years) but rather, it satisfies the cravings. Have you heard of well, if you see the same ethnicities eating that food then you know its authentic, I believe that! Its authentic so if you in the area and want to try Filipino Food then come here, I would suggest a 2 Item combo, comes with rice; something grilled, something stewed add noodles or a dessert like Halo Halo Suggestions; Work on the customer service (Super Lacking), Rice is cheap so give more, Possibly par cook the BBQ and cook to order so it will be hot, ensure the chafing dishes are at the right temperature (HOT) check them hourly.
